Kitty Davy, lived at Meher spiritual Centre, A part of the mandali, she served Baba selflessly for number of years, following her first meeting the Master in 1931 in London. Meher Baba had given a hint to Kitty Davy of future accident on the soil of America 20 years in advance but she could not grasp at that time.

Herbert had been interested in meditation and spirituality since serving in the Army in India during World War I. He had studied the lives of different Masters from the East, so it was not difficult for him to accept Baba. He wrote his sister Katherine about the retreat and Meher Baba.

Katherine "Kitty" Laura Davy, 40, was working as a music teacher, and soon after receiving Herbert's letter, she also visited the retreat. Both were at Devonshire in July when the cable arrived announcing Baba's intended visit in the fall.

Kitty was waiting for the group at Victoria Station. While thousands of other people were looking forward to seeing Mahatma Gandhi pass by, Kitty was waiting for her Beloved — the sole dweller in her heart. The Master had prepared her internally for the awakening that was about to occur.



Audio Impairment Notes:

The audio was recorded on a cassette recorder separate from filming. Because of age the tape material is compromised. The issue with sync is because of temperature variables, high humidity, and the presence of corrosive elements in the air all affect the physical components that make up magnetic tape and can result in loss of readable data through decreased magnetic capability and deterioration of the binder or backing of the tape over the span of fifty years.
Adobe Tech states: The tape gets stretched. When that happens, the overall timing of the video signal gets out of sync. The electronic signals are farther apart than they should be, kind of like markings on a stretched a rubber band. A slight speed inconsistency, stretched over a long duration, will cause a severe syncing issue.
