REAR BRAKE CALIPER & PAD CHANGE - EASY - Vauxhall (Zafira B, Astra, Corsa etc.)

Описание к видео REAR BRAKE CALIPER & PAD CHANGE - EASY - Vauxhall (Zafira B, Astra, Corsa etc.)

This video will show you how I went about replacing my rear brake pads and rotors.

From a high level, the steps are:
Open the brake resevoir
Jack up the car, remove the wheels
Remove the brake calipur
Remove the brake bracket
Remove brake rotor
Place new brake rotor
Place new brake pads
Put everything back together

I went into a problem after I removed the brake line, the problem is when you do that you have to replace the crush washers in the banjo bolt, the washer in there was 2mm, I bought some copper washers but they were 1.5mm thickness, I ended up using 2 of those washers to stop the leak. This took me a long time to figure out so I ended up not removing the brake line on the other side.

Hope you enjoyed the video.
