While not something most athletes think about, breathing techniques can significantly boost or harm our performance, especially on the road bike and tt bike / tri bike. Do it right, and you're maximizing the use of the muscles that help us breathe, allowing you to get the most oxygen in. Neglect it, and it can lead to frustratingly poor performances.

Crocodile breathing

Why is it called Crocodile breathing?
Because when done properly, your stomach will look just like a big old crocodile's does, as he hangs out on the shores of his favorite waterway.

This "simple" drill helps cyclists and triathletes learn the basic skill of how to BREATHE on the bike properly- something very few riders even think about as they look to progress their fitness and riding abilities.
