By transforming the former First American Title Company site into a vibrant residential community, Rafferty enhances Santa Ana’s urban fabric. The project’s preservation of the 1931 Art Deco façade of the historic Orange County Title Company building seamlessly integrates history with modern design, creating a unique streetscape. Thoughtfully designed pedestrian-friendly passive and programmable open spaces at the interface of private and public property foster community interaction, establishing a cohesive and engaging project. Rafferty ’s exceptional contribution to creating a strong sense of place, revitalizes a key downtown location, adding diverse housing while honoring its historical context.
