🦖: During the first fan meetings, we didn't have that many fans yet. I felt like I could handle the gifts myself because at first it was mostly letters. It wasn't until the second year that I was caught off guard.
i have to explain the fan meeting process. let's say i'm going for three days. on the first day after we arrive, we rehearse, and in the evening we sign posters and do the fan meeting briefing. on the second day, we wake up early to prepare. i want to say that we don't have a relaxing trip, and i'm sure the fans are tired too. even after the fan meetings, we sometimes go out to eat and don't get back to the hotel until midnight. there, i spend 3-4 hours sorting the gifts. not a single thing goes unnoticed by me, not a single one. everything is looked through by me, and every letter and handmade gift, i will put in the bag first. it's always like that, whether in the usa or elsewhere.
I have to say that because of the restrictions, I can't give everything back. I have to apologize to the fans for this. I never said this because I think gifts are thoughtful gestures from fans. I don't want to impose restrictions by saying "I only want this and that" because it could be interpreted as "Dau only wants expensive gifts" or "Dau only wants money." I don't want it to be like that. You can give me whatever you want.
🦖: I think I don't want to throw away the gifts... I don't want to throw them away. I don't want to throw away anything at all. But at the same time, when going to overseas fan meetings, it's impossible to bring everything back to Thailand. And at that moment, I also felt like I didn't want to limit the thoughtful gestures of fans. Another thing is that everything just flew by in the past year.
i also acknowledge that for example there are some gifts that i saw, kept the letter from them and appreciated their thoughtfulness, but i feel really sad that i had to leave them at the hotel. if no one wants the shirt, it would be a waste of money. i just feel like if the shirt could be useful - i could give it to my nephew/niece, or ask pi' or other people to return it for me if it suits someone and that's possible.
However, I forgot to look at it from the fans' perspective. If you don't know what's going on behind the scenes, you might think that the gifts didn't reach me. Or, what I didn't consider is that you might want me to wear them only myself. I have to apologize for that. I'm really sorry that I didn't consider that aspect
