The single trash dump in Kiteezi collapsed early on Saturday morning, burying villagers' homes. The president declared that because of the stink, no settlement would be permitted beneath the landfill. Additionally, President Museveni gave the State House instructions to donate Shs5 million for each person killed and Shs1 million for each person injured in the Kiteezi dump catastrophe that occurred early on Saturday.
