NESGUIDE PLAYER NOTE (P1: Crow)

I think this is one of the best games for the NES that wasn't well-known. No one I knew asked for a copy of "Alfred Chicken" for Christmas back in the day, but we didn't know what we were missing. It's stress-free fun. The "floaty" nature of gravity, given the feathers, takes some of the pressure off of landing on platforms. The dive-bomb drill attack is very satisfying, in the event an enemy happens to be standing where you might have wanted to land. Alfred wears a snorkel underwater and transforms into a spaceship when fighting certain bosses. The indulgence of weird, funny little design ideas is strong with this one. The people who made this game cared a lot about it, and it shows.
