Monstera adansonii and siltepecana:

#Rustfungus can be a concern for Monstera plants, especially in conditions with high humidity. Here's how to identify and manage rust fungus:
-It presents as small, powdery orange or rusty spots on the leaves, resembling rust. If left untreated, rust fungus can weaken the plant and lead to leaf drop.
- Infected leaves may develop yellow or brown spots and eventually drop off.

Management and Prevention:
1. Isolation: If you notice signs of rust fungus on your Monstera plant, isolate it from other plants to prevent the spread of the disease.
2. Pruning: Remove and dispose of infected leaves and stems to prevent the spread of spores. Be sure to sanitise pruning tools between cuts to avoid further contamination.
3. In severe cases, you may need to use a fungicidal spray to control rust fungus. I prefer to chop the leaves off.

Regular pruning is also great to help maintain the shape and health of your Monstera plants!
