Learn how to view, reflect on, and respond to feedback from your peers to improve your module work. This is based on Module 2, but is applicable to all the modules in the course.

When to complete this step: You will receive feedback from peers who have reviewed your submission. This tutorial shows you how to use their feedback to improve your work.

Getting started

Accessing your feedback: Click on "Receive feedback" in your module certification section. You will see how many reviews you have received. Each review contains ratings and written feedback from a colleague.

Starting your reflection: Click "Reflect Now" to begin reviewing the feedback.

Understanding the screen layout

Left side of screen: Shows your original submission
Your answer to Question 1 (your story)
Your answer to Question 2 (your plan)

Right side of screen: Shows the feedback
Peer review criteria
Rating you received (0-4)
Written feedback from your colleague
Space for your reflection

Reading and reflecting on feedback
Step 1: Read the rating
Look at the rating number (0-4):
0 = Not yet clear enough
1 = Important starting point
2 = Good start
3 = Clear story
4 = Powerful story

Remember: The rating is less important than the written feedback. Focus on the suggestions for improvement.

Step 2: Read the written feedback carefully
Look for:
What the colleague appreciated about your work;
Specific suggestions for improvement;
Examples from their own experience;
Ideas you had not considered.

Step 3: Think about how to use the feedback
Ask yourself:
Which suggestions are most helpful?
What can I add to my work?
What new ideas did the colleague share?
How can this improve my plan?

Writing your reflection

For each question's feedback
You should write how you will use the feedback to improve your work.

Critical requirement: Write at least 25 words for Question 1 feedback and 25 words for Question 2 feedback.

What to include in your reflection
Start by thanking the colleague: Show appreciation for their time and effort.
Explain what was helpful: Be specific about which suggestions you found useful.
Describe how you will improve: Tell how you will use their feedback in your work.

Example reflection:
"Thank you for suggesting mobile clinics with mental health services. I will incorporate this into my plan by partnering with mental health professionals. Your idea about addressing trauma that leads to depression is very helpful. I had not considered this important aspect before."

Confirming your reflection

Before confirming
Check that you have:
Written at least 25 words for Question 1 reflection;
Written at least 25 words for Question 2 reflection;
Explained how you will use the feedback;
Thanked your colleague.

Submitting your reflection
Click "Confirm" to submit your reflection. You cannot change it after confirming.

Reviewing additional feedback
If you have received more than one review:
Repeat this process for each review;
Each colleague may offer different perspectives;
Consider all suggestions when improving your work.

Why this step matters
Purpose of peer learning: Learning from each other makes everyone's work better. Your colleagues share experiences and ideas you may not have considered.
Continuous improvement: Use feedback to strengthen your understanding and improve your plans for helping your community.
Building connections: Thoughtful reflection shows respect for your colleagues' efforts and builds a stronger learning community.

Important reminders
Focus on constructive suggestions, not just ratings
Write at least 25 words for each reflection
Be specific about how you will use the feedback
Thank colleagues for their time and effort
Complete reflection for all reviews you receive

What comes next
After reflecting on all feedback:
Use the suggestions to improve your module work;
Apply new ideas in your daily practice;
Continue to the next module certification steps.

Your reflection helps you grow as a health worker and better serve your community!
