This video shows how to complete the 2nd dungeon of the First Quest. That means going into every single room & getting everything this dungeon has to offer; no matter how pointless it may be. If you only want to see what is necessary to beat the level while getting the important items then watch the video linked down below.

As with all dungeons in this game it's not a bad idea to have a potion on hand. Furthermore you may want to upgrade your sword to the White Sword as it does double the damage of the starting sword & can help if you're having trouble (I don't have it in this video). Videos showing all Potion Shop & Bomb Shop locations as well as how to get the White Sword can all be found linked down below.

Goodies from this dungeon:
Compass (0:46): From the entrance room go up 1 screen & right 2 screens. You'll find the compass in a room with several Gels.

Map: (0:50): Go to the room with the compass in it & place a bomb in the middle of the top wall. Go through the hole & you'll find the map in this next room.

Magical Boomerang (1:24): There is a room with 3 blue Goriya to the right of one of the rooms filled with Ropes (the snakes). Kill the 3 Goriya to get the Magical Boomerang. You don't need to use bombs to kill them like I do in the video, but if you have bombs then they can make killing them easier. The Magical Boomerang is slightly faster than the regular boomerang and it reaches across the entire screen.

Boss Dodongo (3:11): You'll need bombs to kill Dodongo & the enemies in the previous room drop 4 of them which should be enough, but bringing more bombs could be useful.
There are 2 ways to damage Dodongo: Either have him walk into a bomb so that he eats it or have a bomb explode near him which stuns him (he stops walking) & makes him temporarily vulnerable to an attack from your sword. Feeding him 2 bombs or hitting him twice with the starting sword while he is stunned will kill him.
