Our 2021 Silver State 300:
The 2nd race in the Best In The Desert series! Here we go!

Persistence, Passion, perseverance and splash of stubbornness.
Qualifying was once again cancelled and we drew for starting order, we drew 11th.

We started the race with a good pace, before race mile 50 the field began to stack up from 5-13th. This created very treacherous driving conditions
with visibility down to 20ft at some points during the race.
We were physically 8th on course at race mile 68 . It was fun…. Until it wasn’t.

Race mile 69 is where our race was put on pause. In the mountainous terrain, extreme dust, and during a sharp right, we caughta berm with our
left side tires and went for a tumble, landing drivers door up.
The reason I used the term pause, and the first sentence includes perseverance is that with the help of BITD, we flipped the truck back on all 4 of its General Tires and continued the next 210 miles! When we resumed our race we were last in class , but as we began to click off the miles with our
stubbornness on full display, we moved up 7 positions! With the finishing position of 12th, we now sit 11th in the season points. While we are
unhappy that we are outside the top 10, we are determined to get better and make a charge to accomplish one of our season goals, top 7 in points.
