Here's another post in the playlist: LIVE @ Pulawski Studio. In this recording all musicians are playing simultaneously!

This video comes from a HARD ROCK quintet (Arends/Sumedi/Pulawski/deJeer/tenBosch) recording/jamming session that occurred on the 15th July. We're playing here yet another beautiful ballad by Deep Purple. Enjoy!

In this recording the drummer, Philip ten Bosch, is playing the studio’s own drum kit (Yamaha shell set with a Gretsch USA Bell Brass snare) and cymbals (Zildjian K).

Recording, mix, mastering, video - Mateusz Pulawski

Pulawski Studio Sessions is an initiative by Mateusz Pulawski, owner of Pulawski Studio, where musicians come together and within a couple of hours (like a 3-hour-long studio session) spontaneously record a couple of tunes, mostly for fun. The music is always performed live in the studio, so no separate tracking (and with some obvious exceptions- no overdubbing). Out of the recorded material, in the following weeks Mateusz is putting together a full mix and master of the song(s) and prepares a video edit, which he later publishes on YouTube. …here’s some backstory of the project (written back in November 2023):
„This was one of the most interesting sessions that I’ve ever held at my studio. When I was a kid I dreamt of being able to understand how the magical music of Deep Purple is put together. When I was a teenager I dreamt of ever becoming as good a guitar player as Ritchie Blackmore. Finally, last year, after finishing my research on this band’s sound, I dreamt of sharing that musical energy with others at my studio. Now I can proudly say that (at least) the third dream has come true. With these fantastic musicians: JOSHUA, JINA, PHILIP and RICO we’ve recently got to a couple classic hard rock tunes. Also the mixing and mastering of these recordings have been a nice variation and challenge.”
