This easy Filipino recipe of beef Tapa is quite simple and yet full of flavor.
Ingredients:
300 grams beef sirloin, sliced thinly
1/4 cup light soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons oyster sauce
1-2 tablespoons cooking oil

Add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Add the beef and mix until fully coated with the marinade. Keep in the fridge to marinate for at least 4 hours and up to 24 hours. Drain the beef from marinade. In a wide frying pan over medium heat, heat the cooking oil. Add the beef slices in one layer, turning on sides, for about 3-5 minutes or until well browned. The cooking time depends on the thickness of your meat. Do not overcook the meat or it will become too tough. Serve with white rice, brown rice, or noodles of your liking.
