Song Joong Ki, who is currently in France to attend the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, met with Korean media outlets and spoke honestly about his wife.

He revealed that his wife, Katy Louise Saunders, has been a great help to him at the festival.

Song Joong Ki then revealed the differences in cultures regarding pregnancy. He said that whereas in Korea, pregnant women are encouraged to rest and stay still,in the West, pregnant women are encouraged to move around.

He shared that the West has a different culture when it comes to pregnancy. They are encouraged to walk, hike, and exercise a lot.

He said, “although the Cannes Film Festival is important, to be honest, all of my focus is on her. I will take care of her even while promoting the movie.”

Song Joong Ki then revealed that he would be attending the red carpet with his wife and asked reporters to take many photos of them.
