Disclaimer We do not know if removing the anti glare negatively impacts color accuracy and color production as the factory calibrates the colors based on the filter. It is safe to assume that it does therefore if you want near perfect color accuracy, it is recommended to either get an ISF calibration or similar. I am having Classy Calibrations do the calibrating on the 77 and 55 s95d with the AG filter removed next weekend, I will make sure to post a video on how that works out. Thank you!

This is how to safely and easily remove both matte or glossy anti glare from QD Oled monitors and TVs.

Here is what you need:

1: Distilled water
2: Bounty paper towel preferred
3: 5 minutes of time to setup


Steps:

1: Take and set the monitor or tv down flat safely
2: Dip paper towels that will cover the length of the display into a bowl of distilled water.
3: Squeeze out the excess water and lay the paper towels flat onto the display.
4: Have 3 layers total of paper towel, making sure that you have flattened out the paper towel onto the display.
5: Come back and check the moisture of the paper towel every hour for about 5hrs. If the paper towel is losing its moisture, add more distilled water but do that sparingly!
6: After 5hrs or so, take your finger nail or a very thin razor blade (be careful with yourself and the display!) and go to the top corner and you will feel the anti glare and peel it up the corner, if it comes up easily then set it back down, remove all the paper towel and then pull off the anti glare 😎

The anti glare will peel up like wet paper and leave no residue and it will take NO effort to pull off! If it’s requiring you to use force to pull it up, let it soak with paper towels longer. It should take no force to pull off!
