Among with Dumble and Trainwreck, Matchless was one of the original early boutique guitar amp manufacturers.

The DC-30 (HC-30 for the head format) is probably one of THE most recongizable modern classics that were put out by any amp boutique.

It has definitely that AC30 gene, but it also sounds quite a bit different - stouter, punchier and with that characteristic steely Matchless top-end.
