For the last 20+ years, the Air Jordan 4 has been celebrated and reimagined in a plethora of ways as just one of the many embodiments of MJ’s winning mentality along with Tinker Hatfield‘s innovative and fashion-forward craftsmanship.
Essentially a red version of the Air Jordan 4 "Thunder", which originally debuted in 2006 and was seen once more in 2012, this Air Jordan 4 comes equipped with a Black nubuck construction that makes up the majority of the upper along with with tonal detailing on the ankle wings, upper tongue, inner liner, and the plastic heel tabs. The highlight hue of red is seen on the waffle eyelets, the mesh detailing on the tongues and side panels, inner tongue, and the midsoles. White Jumpman logos on the tongue and heel, red Flight branding on the tongues, and black rubber outsole finish things off.
This Air Jordan 4 “Red Thunder” could very well pass as something his Airness would have worn as the black and red combination is landing on the AJ4 in the same fashion that the black and yellow did on the OG “Thunder” pair.
