Does it get much better? In Ohio, we are blessed with some hidden gems throughout our state. My goal and objectives are to seek out these hidden treasures to show just how insane the bite can get in small creeks. My passion was born here and for good reason. At a very young age, I knew the quality of fish you can stumble upon if you just hit the creek and walk. From Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, and Spotted Bass you never really know what's gonna come from the depths and destroy your lure! As winter approaches us with haste, the bass in small creeks desperately look for easy meals to put on some weight for the cold dead months ahead. In this adventure, I switched up presentations regularly to trick these crystal clear water beasts into biting. My final NAPRA event of the year and I put a SOLID finish together with the Nikko Hellgrammite, Leech, and Craw. To top it off I got into a very mean and heavy smallmouth on topwater.
