Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2023 Xtreme 160R 4V in India, and this TVS Apache RTR 160 4V-rivalling roadster-segment motorcycle gets several updates over the two-valve version. For starters, the new Hero Xtreme 160R 4V is available in three variants – standard, Connected, and Pro.

The mechanical specifications on all variants include a 163cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine with a four-valve setup. Linked to a five-speed gearbox, this motor makes 16.6bhp and 14.4Nm, which is 1.6bhp and 0.4Nm more than the two-valve model. Notably, the new engine on the Xtreme 160R 4V uses a bigger bore and a shorter stroke than the two-valve motor.

Meanwhile, the styling retains the overall silhouette from the previous version. However, the four-valve version gets a few tweaks in the form of a revised position for the headlamp that sits slightly lower than the two-valve variant, an updated fuel tank design, and a new belly pan.
