My first project was a reverse image searching tool for anime pictures. It was made as a command line tool to harness the power of combining it with other tools.

At the time, I was only familiar with 2 languages, Python and C.
I learned Python from my first semester classes at university and I learned C in grade 12 from an online course I took called cs50. Already familiar with Python from school, I decided to use C for this project. From this project I learned many things I didn't know before.
I was also able to implement algorithms and data structures I learned from school such as resizable arrays, linked lists and getopt.
But this project also has many flaws. If I were to recreate this program, I would probably use a different language such as Go, Rust or Python because they have a much richer standard library.
Using C also doesn't provide any performance benefits because the bottleneck of this program is the network.
