We stayed in Antalya from Jan 29th to Feb 6th in an Airbnb in Koniyaalti.
Most of the time, we ate outside since we wanted to explore different parts of Antalya. We want to have a feeling of what expensive ($$$) restaurants and cafes look like in Antalya. So we tried them and were surprised how affordable they were in comparison to where we live in Canada. We didn't eat any sandwiches or go to smaller places where food was much cheaper ($), as little as 25 TL for a sandwich, e.g.

The highest cost was Airbnb in Koniyaalti. There were less expensive places to rent, but we wanted to have a very good location close to the Koniyaalti beach. We also looked for a residential area so we could experience the life of locals in Antalya. It was possible to rent something for half the price of our Airbnb.

We decided to take cabs instead of public transportation due to Covid. On the 3rd day, we picked up our rental car at the airport that we had rented for our entire stay in Turkey (30 days).

Please share with us your experience if you know Antalya and let us know how we did with our expenses. In the next video, we bring you to Adana, the famous place for Adana kebab. But there was a change in our plan. Unfortunately, Vanda had to leave Turkey. Now, I am travelling through Turkey alone and will visit a few more cities and towns by the Mediterranean Sea. I will post videos from Alanya, where I am currently staying. The journey will then continue to Bodrum, Fethiye, Kas, and back to Antalya.

Thanks, and stay safe,

Shahram
