How to Crochet Dahlia Flower step by step - Including written photo tutorial!

Today I am sharing with you my free Crochet Dahlia Flower pattern.

You can make your Crochet flower in any yarn of your choice. I have used some DK yarn with a small 2.2mm crochet hook to keep the form tight. To give my crochet flower depth I have decided to use a graded colour scheme using 4 varing tones.

Materials

* 3 meters Red DK yarn
* 5 meters Brown DK yarn
* 10 meters Orange DK yarn
* 25 meters Coral DK yarn
* 5 meters Green DK Yarn
* 1 meters Yellow DK yarn
* Use the smallest possible crochet hook for your yarn I have used a 2.2mm crochet hook.
* Yarn needle
* Scissors
* 50cm Florist Wire

Gauge: N/A.Use the smallest crochet hook you can with your chosen yarn to create tight stitches, this will help your petals keep the form & not flop.

Size: 10 x 10cm diameter flower.

Notes: The flower is worked in the round using both front and back loops. The flower is made of 3 motifs.
