আওয়ামী লীগ সরকারের আমলে তথ্য ও যোগাযোগ প্রযুক্তি মন্ত্রণালয়ের ২১টি প্রকল্পে হরিলুটের প্রমাণ পেয়েছে তদন্ত কমিটি। এসব প্রকল্পের কেনাকাটা থেকে শুরু করে অবকাঠামো নির্মাণ-সব ক্ষেত্রে অনিয়ম ও দুর্নীতি হয়েছে। ২১টি চলমান আইসিটি প্রকল্পের অপ্রয়োজনীয় অংশ বাদ দিলে প্রায় সাত হাজার কোটি টাকা সাশ্রয় করা সম্ভব হতো।
The investigation committee has found evidence of embezzlement in 21 projects of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology during the Awami League government. Irregularities and corruption have occurred in all aspects of these projects, from procurement to infrastructure construction. If unnecessary parts of the 21 ongoing ICT projects were eliminated, it would have been possible to save about 7,000 crore taka.
