UPDATE: A woman has died after she was stabbed Monday evening by a man who was later shot and killed by Phoenix police.

Officials say police were called to a home just before 6 p.m. near 43rd and Southern avenues after they received multiple calls for domestic violence from neighbors. When officers approached the front door they found a woman suffering from obvious signs of trauma. A man, identified as her husband, was allegedly standing behind her holding a knife in each hand.
