Flotek DOTek Calibration Guide

Learn the simple quick steps for calibrating your Flotek optical dissolved oxygen sensor, the DOTek. First step is to mix 20mL of room temp DI water with 0.5g of Sodium Sulfite - shake it up and let it rest 10 minutes to consume all of the oxygen.

Then turn the meter on, let it warm up for 5-10s or until readings show up. With the probe inside of the storage sleeve, hold the measurement/cal button for 5s to put the probe into calibration mode. If you have a stable numbers, go ahead and press the setup/enter button to set the 100% calibration.

Then take your probe and place it in the Sodium Sulfite 0% DO solution that you mixed up. Wait for the meter to display 0.00 then hold the measure/cal button for 5s till the probe goes into calibration mode. If the temperature and readings are stable, hit the setup/enter button to accept your 0% calibration point.

Congratulations, you can now easily and quickly measure DO anywhere in your winery.
