Welcome to Excel VBA Functions Series. In this video we see the string function INSTR., which is used to find a sub-string within a string. It accepts four parameters: the start position, the string, the sub-string, and the compare mode. INSTR is very useful to work with text in Excel, it allows to find characters or text, and the exact position in the target string. The video shows various examples where we can use INSTR in Excel.
