The Derpiest Lion Ever! | Taxidermy Horrors at Gripsholm Castle

Gripsholm castle is a 400 year old castle just south of Stockholm, Sweden. It's famous for its collection of royal portraits, its lovely architecture...and because it houses the WORST stuffed lion in Sweden - and possibly the world.

Come along on a walk through Gripsholm castle and check out the interor from the 16th and 17th century, as I tell you about Sweden's fascination with lions. We'll explore art gallies, tower rooms, weapon caches and huge cannons in our search for the fabled stuffed lion called Leo.

I also check out portraits of the "theatre king" Gustav III, fat Danish kings, impressive beards from the 17th and 18th century, and kids who look like white walkers. Sounds exciting, doesn't it...?
