I go over some aspects of a shaving lather bowl that you might use to choose your own. These aspects can also be used as you think about or design your own custom bowl from a potter or artisan.

I talk about several of the bowls I've tried in the past, and what I learned from each of them.

I also show the Fine Accoutrements Lather Bowl, and talk about why it didn't match my needs due to its smaller capacity. Because of its similar size, the Captain's Choice Large Lather Bowl is discussed as well, and falls within the same camp as the Fine bowl.

At the end, I show you my custom lather bowl, with spiral grooving, turned-in lip, and larger size.
