Hi everyone!

Today I wanted to show you how to use the ImageBackground component in react native. I commonly use this as a background for login pages or if I want a subtle patterned background on my apps. I will explore how to use a local image as a background and also how to use an image at a url as a background. I will also explore the different resize modes available, what they do and why I may use one over the other depending on different images.

Note: I am using expo for ease of development but expo is not required to make use of the switch component.
