A really beautiful and undoubtedly unappreciated watch from Bulgari; the synthesis of about 20 years of producing the Diagono line it is a well thought out and excellent sports watch for the gentleman with style. The case was always edgy and different; the Diagono case really 'made' the Bulgari brand. Now that is changing since being incorporated into the Daniel Roth Gerald Genta stable. But this design remains excellent. It is a beautifully done manufacture case with excellent sharp lines of brushing and high polished finish. The dial with its repeating diamond pattern and retro faceted luminous baton markers is a beauty. Upsized to 40MM over the older 38MM model it feels even larger than it is. The watch should absolutely be a competitor to a Datejust and its fit/finish would have you believing that. The bracelet is such a good look; to me this is one of the best bargains in the watch world: this is a lot of watch for the money.
