Resolving an oil leak on a 1977 Triumph Bonneville T140V

Repaired an oil leak, coming from the rocker box spindle rod, on my 1977 #TriumphBonneville #T140V. While these bikes will often have oil leaks, some are more annoying than others. This one was resulting in oil leaking onto a hot engine, and dripping on the fins of the valve cover rocker box, resulting in rather obnoxious oil fumes when sitting at traffic lights. Wanted to get this one resolved.

This repair is really quite a simple one; it can easily be done in less than an hour with the right tools and replacement o-ring worth a couple of bucks. Most issues on these old Triumphs are really not that difficult to repair and can result in many, many hours of joyous riding. Worth the effort in my honest opinion.
