1971 Rover P6 3500 V8 in motion

Regrettably up for sale is my Rover P6 3500 V8 in Tobacco Leaf.
This car is a pleasure to drive. The automatic transmission is nice and smooth and the power steering makes this car effortless to drive. I love the sound of the V8 especially around town in low speed.
All the instruments work, speedo, temp, oil, amps, rev, petrol and also the clock.
Original black leather seats with the rare scalloped edge. The stitching is slightly undone on the base of the passenger and driver's seat which is not noticeable in the picture, but is easily rectified with needle and thread. The front seats have the "ET" headrests which work forward and back by pressing the button on the side.
The carpets have been removed to fit new ones but I have not had the time to do it. However I do have brand new tailor made heavy duty carpets (champagne) with underlay and strong adhesive which is included in the sale.
Also included in sale is a set of door rubbers and window external weather shield enough for all 4 doors and windows, as they need replacing.
The underside of the car has been welded in the past and is now sound. The car has passed the last MOT with no advisories. It is currently taxed (Free) and ready to drive away.
I spent a lot of money sorting the rear brakes and as you know they are a nightmare to fix as they are inboard, so I changed the entire rear brake system. I fitted 2 new discs, new pads and reconditioned calipers from Wins. Changed all 8 spark plugs, HT leads and sorted the overheating problem by changing the inlet manifold lead, radiator cap and flushed the radiator.
This is car is by no means a concourse and will not win prizes but is a good reliable runner. It is 42 years old and shows signs of rust in usual places but it is part of the charm. However if you are interested, I do have 4 good straight wings and many other parts which can be purchased at a reasonable price.
The chrome is pretty good except for the rear bumper. The tires are all in good condition with plenty of thread including the spare in boot.
I wanted to fit the carpets and the door seals before selling it but I just don't have the time, because I have 4 other classic cars and I also need the space. Furthermore I hardly use the car and it does not warrant me to keep paying for Insurance, MOT and maintenance every year for the sake of a few hundred miles. I purchased this car in 2012 and have added only 300 miles to the total mileage, which currently reads 67,218.
