Mirra, Hoffman, McCoy and Thorne: Stone Edge 1992 4K

Welp, about a week ago, Rob Nolli and Mark Losey sent over a photo of the grass lot under which Stone Edge skatepark in Daytona Beach, Florida, is officially filled and buried.
I'd like to say it didn't bother me too much, but since that text- many good memories have been appearing in my head.
Dave Brumlow and I took turns badgering the original owner back in '91 to let bikes in, and we finally succeeded.
Then one day in May '92, I was alerted that the Sprocket Jockey team of Mat Hoffman, DMC, Dave Mirra and Rick Thorne were getting to the park before it was open for a private session before the Hoffman contest that was to follow.
So naturally, I hopped in my CRX and blasted from Kissimmee to Daytona in the rain, just in time to see (through my Sony HandyyCam) what you are seeing unfold.
I edited this today in continuity, and it made me laugh out loud far too many times.
Mirra/Thorne to McCoy:
"If you don't pull this, you're Martin Aparijo"
SLAM.
This was most definitely the first time I'd seen a backflip on a bike in person.
If I recall correctly, all the guys had just learned them flyout style, so it was a treat to see it in person.
Just watching the guys pick apart the park trying to figure it out,
and the banter between them is priceless.
And bonus Krt Scmidt clips at the end.
RIP Stone Edge, this was but one of many good times.it provided.
