【大隅級運輸艦】日本海自的航母夢，可裝載多架F35戰鬥機，能停放15輛主戰坦克，6架直升機，實力堪比兩栖突擊艦

大隅級運輸艦（日語：おおすみ型輸送艦）是日本海上自衛隊所屬之兩栖船塢運輸艦。海上自衛隊將本級艦艇歸類為運輸艦，因為她並不具有前開式戰車進出大門，也不能直接登陸沙灘。
但在外型與功能上，大隅級設計較接近船塢登陸艦。
大隅級運輸艦曾參與位於伊拉克的維和行動，並運載陸上自衛隊士兵與軍用卡車實施伊拉克境內的保安任務。
The Osumi class transport ship (Japanese: おおすみ type transport ship) is an amphibious dock transport ship belonging to the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force. The Maritime Self-Defense Force classifies this class of ship as a transport ship, because she does not have a front-opening chariot to enter and exit the gate, nor can it directly land on the beach.
However, in terms of appearance and function, the Osumi-class design is closer to the dock landing ship.
The Osumi-class transport ship once participated in peacekeeping operations in Iraq, and carried soldiers of the Ground Self-Defense Force and military trucks to perform security tasks in Iraq.
