UK To Sicily 2023 Motorcycle (S1 E1)

Although I've ridden away on my own and with friends on many an adventure, in Great Britain and over many destinations in Europe, sleeping under the stars with and without tent, my wife had never joined me on anything more than a 2 day trip. (Mainly due to my last motorcycle was a chopper and the pillion had zero suspension). This was to be a 22 day trip, what could go wrong?. We fancied going to Sicily, riding the whole way taking in all of Italy's wonders. We didn't book anything other than the shuttle from Folkestone to Calais. We had a tent and cooking gear. (My wife hates camping). So we planned to do half hotels also.
We postponed our trip by 2 weeks, as at the start of June Italy suffered terrible floods. We left late June and escaped Sicily just as the July heatwaves began ravaging the lands. We had just bought a GoPro, this is my first humble attempt at filming and editing, I apologise in advance. I know I have so much to learn. This film was gonna be to show to our kids, but I'm throwing caution to the wind by putting it up on this platform.
I hope that maybe just even one person finds it entertaining, amusing, or maybe it inspires them to take off, with little plans on a journey to some random wonderful place.
