The NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture (Renaissance JV) has opened applications for its 2025 university scholarship scheme. This annual grant is aimed at helping Nigerian students stay focused on their studies without the burden of financial stress.

Applications opened on 20 June 2025 and will close on 25 July 2025. If you’re in your second year at a Nigerian university, this is worth checking out.


Who Can Apply?

The scholarship comes in two categories:National Merit Award – open to all Nigerian students.
Areas of Operation Merit Award – for students from Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, or Rivers States, where the company operates.

Both are based on merit, so grades matter.
Basic Requirements

To apply, you must:Be a Nigerian citizen.
Be enrolled full-time in a recognised university in Nigeria.
Currently be in 200 Level.
Have been admitted during the 2023/2024 academic year.
Not be enjoying any other oil and gas scholarship (whether local or foreign).

If you tick all these boxes, you’re good to go.
