Here's the funny thing... I actually started planning this project back in January, long before the world went into lock-down for the pandemic. I just thought it was time for me to do another mass choir project, not even knowing what was about to happen. And then it happened, and everyone wanted to be in a virtual choir! So this turned into my BIGGEST project yet. 94 voices total! I stayed up late, I worked weekends, I even enlisted the help of my friend Jean-Paul Lebens from Belgium (who I've recorded with in the past with his group Chiche). I need to give him a huge public THANK YOU for helping me edit all these audio files and create the master which you are hearing now. (Thanks, JP!)

"All My Trials" is an SATB a cappella choral piece arranged by Norman Luboff. It is credited as a Bahamian Spiritual. According to folksongindex.com: "All My Trials is based on a Bahamian lullaby that tells the story of a mother on her death bed, comforting her children, The message – that no matter how bleak the situation seemed, the struggle would “soon be over” – propelled the song to the status of an anthem during the civil rights movement."

Looking at it now, I think this text reflects how many of us are feeling now during the pandemic. "All my trials, Lord, soon be over." Someday this pandemic will be over as well. God bless! And if you like our performance, please share it with others!
