बात 1988 की है तब उत्तर प्रदेश में नकल माफिया का दबदबा रहता था। उन दिनों छात्रों को अच्छे अंक दिलाने के नाम पर एक हजार रुपए से लेकर 10 हजार रुपये तक खर्च करने पड़ते थे। तभी फर्रूखाबाद बाद के थाने में एसएस लौर उर्फ भगतजी की तैनाती होती है। इन्होंने नकल माफिया पर शिकंजा कसा और गृह मंत्री के रिश्तेदार को भी जेल भेजा तो अफसरों में खलबली मच गई। बड़े बड़े अधिकारी भी सुरेंद्र सिंह लौर के नाम से ख़ौफ़ खाने लगे।
