In this video I finish the carving, wash off the design and finally pull the first impression from the new carved block. This is printed using the traditional Japanese woodblock printmaking technique with sumi ink on Japanese paper or washi. Please follow along for the next video where I print an edition and visit the Met to view the original copy made by Dürer himself.
