The vast River Trent to the quaint Fradley Junction. A narrowboat cruise. Episode 70

Val and Andrew take a narrowboat cruise from the vastness of Trent Lock to the quaintness of Fradley Junction, via the historic inland port of Shardlow. The River Trent is enormous, but we soon navigate onto the canal and take in the antiquity of Shardlow. We pass the site used by the Rolling Stones, and in Burton-on-Trent make (a mess of) an awkward reversing manoeuvre. And how do you say Alrewas ? We end the cruise at one of Andrew’s favourite canal junctions, Fradley where Val gets some admiring comments.
