Review of the MF3RS3M:
Stats:
I bought this cube at Thecubicle.com for $9.99.
Out of the box:
Out of the box the cube was really dry and slow. It was pretty much unusable. After about 25 solves the cube lost it's dryness, and became very smooth.
Lubing/Tensioning:
After about 100 solves I decided to Magnetize/Set up this cube. I magnetized this cube with the cubicle Strong Magnetic kit. At first it was really strong, but now it is more subtle. While reassembling the cube I lubed the springs with Traxxas 30K, and the pieces with a mixture of Traxxas 30k and Cubicle silk. Now after about 1000+ solves it is completely broken in and very smooth.
Performance:
The cube performs very well. It is very stable and pretty fast. Corner cutting is good but not amazing due to my moderately tight tensions.
Feeling:
This cube is very blocky and smooth. It is almost like the MF3RS2 and a Valk Power. The Valk power being very blocky and the MF3RS2 being very smooth. I love the feeling the MF3RS3 gives.
"Downsides":
This cube does corner twist every 50 or so solves, but it doesn't bother me too much.
Afterthoughts:
I personally think this cube is amazing. It is perfect for me, because I like really smooth and controllable cubes. It is my current main, and will be for some time.
