Описание к видео E1 - Day 1, The Tear Down - 'Split Week' @ The Old Dub Shop - barn find vw bus build!

The #Splitweekchallenge is finally here! In this video we meet some of the team involved with the build. No time is wasted and the tear down begins. With everyone assigned different roles it's not long before the bus is stripped and its ready to roll into the workshop for the bodywork to begin.

The paint is proving difficult to remove but so far no major hurdles, hopefully it stays like that!

Do you have a patina project, how did you get the paint off?

There are some brilliant businesses and people coming together on this project...

Alan H Schofield Ltd - thanks for supplying the majority of the parts for the build at a fantastic price!

Buttys Bits - donated a fair few parts including his roller throttle linkage, twin seed wiper switch and safari parts!

Creative Engineering - has always been there for us and to top it off they gave a great discount on their 4" narrowed beam with roller bearings!

J’s Auto Electrical - as seen in todays video, onsite helping removing the old wiring loom and later on in the week they'll be rewiring the whole van using a Wolfsburg west loom!

Lite-Steer - although now having some issues with local lockdowns, Lite-Steer are still making sure we get the power steering unit and steering box raise!

MCJ Products - coming soon, customised billet horn push and thanks for a great price on lots of other finishing touches inside the bus!

N2 Engineering - another supplier giving us a great price on parts, in specific flipping the spindles and referring them with new link pins

STS Superb Trimming Service - who you met in this video is spending the whole week on site trimming the bus front to back!

Tozer Signs - coming soon, epic traditional sign writing...

Turtle Wax - thanks for supplying all the detailing products we could ever need! And enough hats and mugs to keep the guys warm during the build!
