Quick and easy recipe for making 蘿蔔糕 (Lo Bak Go) Chinese turnip cake

Ingredients:
3.5kg (5 1/2 to 6 catty) white radish
4 chinese sausage
6 tbsp dried shrimp (soak in water would be better so its soft when you eat it)
600g rice flour
white pepper
salt
oil (optional)

The ingredients could be substituted or adjusted to your preferred taste

For example you could replace the chinese sausage with mushrooms, use dried scallops instead of dried shrimp.

Grating the radish finer will produce more juice.

If the powder becomes too difficult to dissolve and mix in, you could add up to 1 cup of water. The mixture should be thick and not runny. When you mix with a chopstick you should feel some resistance

If you would like more texture you could add cubes of radish instead of grating them all.

After cooking remember to let it to fully cool down before placing it into the fridge
