First Impressions On: Days Gone

On this episode of First Impressions, I hop into another zombie post-apocalypse where everyone has turned into semi-homogenous "Freakers", fast zombies of the non-reanimated kind. Deacon St. John and his buddy Boozer are Drifters, roaming ex-biker bounty hunters that take jobs in whatever settlements they can to hunt people and Freakers alike. We start off in pursuit of Leon, some dink that killed a lady working with us and stole the goods being delivered. After we hunt the creep down, Deacon realizes that the fuel pump on his bike got shot up in the chase, so we ride with Boozer to the old garage at Crazy Willies. On the way, we have to pass through a creepy tunnel with Freaker nests, but with Boozer's shotgun it's not much of a big deal. Crazy Willies, however, is even more overrun with infected, so Boozer draws them off with his bike while Deacon sneaks in to grab a new fuel pump. We kill a few Newts in the process, zombie children that mostly just creep around. However, before we can leave, Boozer is jumped by Rippers, crazy cultists that torture and mutilate themselves and others. We put them down, but not before Boozer's arm is good and cooked.
