This video shows how to quickly and easily cut down 1947-1953 Chevy or Gmc 3/4 ton boxsides to fit a 1/2 ton shortbed chassis. A similar process can be used to shorten 9 foot 1 ton boxsides, however they will need to be shortened in front and behind the rear fenders. The truck in the video is a 1950 Chevy 3/4 ton that was missing it's drivetrain. The body is being put on a factory Shortbed chassis.
