Stakeholder buy-in for patient navigation is crucial to its long-term success, but gaining support for new ideas can be challenging in clinical settings where cancer care delivery is not yet optimized and oncologists and other health care professionals are often overwhelmed by the day-to-day experience of managing high-volume, high-need patient loads.
This virtual event (VE) features oncologists from the US and several low- and middle-income countries who will share their perspectives on the value and benefits of partnering with patient navigators to enhance the care experience for patients and everyone supporting patients. They answer questions and address concerns of oncologists (and other health care leaders and professionals) who want more information about implementing patient navigation in their settings.
