I don't like electrical problems after my Yamaha XV950 Bolt caught fire so I have a qualified motorcycle electrician visit me to remove the regulator/rectifier from my bike and test. I knew the problem stems from that area but needed for professional help. 2 of the wires had a poor reading so he will find out if an aftermarket rectifier would be better than an OEM.
The EVAP charcoal filter can be removed as it causes poor engine tick over and running problems. there is a deletion kit available on EBAY.
