Volunteer in Zanzibar with African Impact

Zanzibar is a series of several small islands and two large ones situated 15 miles off the coast of Tanzania in the Indian Ocean, with a vibrant culture, wonderful cuisine, pristine beaches, and the famous Stone Town. Zanzibar’s beaches provide a surreal location to escape from the world with turquoise blue waters and shallow sandbars to wade in.

Historic and cultural tours conducted on the island are filled with the smell of fresh spices and seafood. The World Heritage Site of Stone Town reflects the diverse history of the island, with East African, Arab, Persian, Indian, and European influences.

With its diversity and history, and opportunities to go snorkeling, diving, and boating, Zanzibar should be on everyone’s bucket list!
