On May 10th and 11th there was an exceptionally strong auroral event over Germany. On the second day I had the opportunity to take a time lapse. The northern lights were visible even though the sunset was still in progress.

In the background, slightly to the right, you can see the Lake Steinhude (Steinhuder Meer).
