☀️🍃 With just a few days to go until the official start to the autumn season on Monday, New York City has reached weather nirvana.

As one parkgoer, Mack, said Friday in Central Park: the city has entered the “golden in-between.”

“I took time to just realize like the moment we're in right now,” he said. “This kind of golden in-between that everybody loves.”

Pauline and her husband Stewart, visiting from England, said they didn’t expect it to be so warm in late September.

“It’s not like this in England—it’s raining,” Pauline said.

Jim, who was playing with his 1-year-old dog Lina in the park, said after another hot summer, “I feel like in a way this city owes us a little good weather in the fall.”

The summer vibes will stretch into the official start of autumn, with temps forecasted to stick to the 70s through next week. But the sun apparently didn't get the message—it's now setting before 7 p.m.
